Shapotou integrates the desert, the Yellow River, the mountains, and the oasis. There is China's largest natural sand skating farms, including "The first ropes of the Yellow River in the world". We vistied ancient water trucks, the oldest transportation tool sheepskin raft on the Yellow River, and the rare mirage in the desert. We also ride camel go through the Tenggri Desert, drive SUV on the sandy sea.
Located in the northeast of the 4,500-meter-high Qinghai Tibet plateau, Qinghai Lake is a blue mirror nestled between snowy mountains and grasslands. Measuring 4,400 square kilometers, it is the largest inland saltwater lake in China.
There are a number of ethnic groups including Han, Mongolia and Tibetan ethnic groups. They are all united in the single aim of protecting the lake and the land which surrounds it.
